A Short trip to Terengganu for Amru and Sue wedding reception.
At the same time, hunting for SATA and Keropok Lekor begin.
Day 1:
Morning: Arrived at Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Sultan Mahmud from LCCT Sepang via Airasia. Nasi kerabu with hot ayam panggang for breakfast at one of the stall along Jalan Seberang Takir near to the airport. Stop by at Amru’s house before check in. We have another session of breakfast, this time we have marvelous homemade nasi dagang, another Terengganu signature cuisine. No picture taken; too busy enjoying the food.
Evening: Taman Tamadun Islam. Took a cab from Hotel Seri Malaysia to TTI will cost you RM15 one way. It’s a very nice place for those who enjoy taking pictures.

Night: Meeting the Gombak’s Clan at seafood restaurant at Pantai Batu Buruk. They served fresh seafood with affordable price. No picture taken; too busy enjoying the food and chit chatting.
Morning: Pasar Payang for breakfast and shopping. The right place to look for batik, sutera, songket and sampin. Price may vary, from RM100 up to RM1500 for the songket and sampin. We bought batik, sampin, keropok ikan parang, keropok ikan tamban and telur penyu.
Afternoon: Wedding reception of Amru & Sue at Padang Midin. Delicious gulai daging and nice tapai for dessert.
Evening: hunt for Keropok lekor and SATA begin. We bought 10 packs of keropok lekor from Kak Yah Keropok Losong. Kak Yah is the first shop on your left hand side after the bridge if you are coming for Kuala Terengganu town.
The hunt for SATA is almost failed. The first shop (near Masjid Seberang Takir) we found (all location we got it from google) did not make SATA for that day. “ betul doh tempat ni, tapi dok buak arinih”. The hunt continues to Kampung Teluk Pasu, Manir( right hand side and about 3km from the Kampung Teluk Pasu- Manir junction). Finally, we found the delicious sata. It’s quite cheap, RM1 for 5 pieces. We bought RM10 and drive back to Pantai Batu Buruk to meet Alun and wife and enjoying our SATA by the seaside. :)
Night: Check out and fly back to KL via Airasia.
